Dear colleagues, I am writing to inform you that the 5th Workshop of Asian Young Geographers will be held from 5–8 June 2026 at South China Normal University, Guangzhou, China. Hosted by the Asian Geographical Association Young Geographers Working Group (AGA-YGWG), in collaboration with the Geographical Society of China (GSC-WCYG) and the International Geographical Union (IGU-YECG), this year's theme is "Innovating Asia, Reshaping the World." The workshop will provide a vital platform for early-career scholars across Asia to share cutting-edge research and foster international collaboration. Key dates:
The conference website (https://asiageo2026.casconf.cn) will open in March 2026 for registrations and submissions. Session proposals may be submitted prior to this date via email to ASIAYGWG2026@163.com. We encourage you to circulate this information widely within your network and communities and to support the participation of young scholars from your country.
